I tried this recipe and thought it was so delicious and comforting.

 

1 pd large shrimp (deveined)

1 pd Andouille sausage

2 red bell peppers

2 green bell peppers

1 red onion

1 can italian tomatoes undrained

1 jar clam juice

1 tbl olive oil

1 stick unsalted butter

1 clove of garlic

3 tbl Creole seasoning (more or less depending on your taste

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

1 package of linguine (cooked)

 

Slice bell peppers and red onion into 1/2 in strips

Cut sausage into bite size pieces

Heat oil in a non-stick skillet 

Add the sausage and cook until no longer pink inside

Remove sausage with a slotted sppon and drain on paper towels

Add stick of butter stirring until melted and garlic  does not burn.

Add peppers, onion and clam juice, stirring until peppers and onion slightly softened.  

Add creole seasoning and tomatoes. stir together

Add drained sausage and shrimp, heat until all cooked thru.

Serve in a bowl over linguine noodles and great with garlic bread or breadsticks
